Mission
Calling all coffee lovers! Wanna get the coffee you love when you want it? We hook you up with the tastiest ethically sourced beans so you can whip up an awesome cup right at home—no need to step out! Coffee is an experience too precious to get wrong, so we’ll guide you through the brewing process and tell you the story from farm to cup. We scour the globe for eco-friendly, top-notch beans, doing all the hard work so you can just kick back and enjoy the perfect brew, without having to leave your door.
How it works
Just browse our coffees and see what we have available…or not! I’m the Barista, leave it to me - drop in on our quiz or use the chat section to ask anything coffee related. I’ll prep your coffee as soon as you order, still hot from our roaster, ground fresh to your desired brew. And before you even knew, I’m knocking at your door like a knight in shining apron, on a caffeinated quest to save your coffee game. Shy? I got you - I’ll slide it through with a slick recipe card to get the best out of your cup and spill the beans on how it got to you!

About me
After ditching uni (sorry mum!) I found myself doing what many young Brits do to escape responsibility – flee to Australia, on the pretence of a ‘working holiday’. On arrival I was caught sufficiently holidaying and soon found myself penniless in Melbourne, ‘coffee capital of the world.’
The goodwill (pity) of a local café offered me a job on the grounds that I could be barista trained in a couple of weeks, and against all odds, I did. It was this challenge (and the threats of my landlord) that began my love affair with coffee.
Returning back home I took a job at the local café overlooking the Common and my coffee obsession persisted. My home became a laboratory for coffee as I shipped in coffee from obscure corners of the globe taste testing, documenting and experimenting.
The only career path I could conceive was to set up my very own café, to share the joy of coffee to as many people as possible. Then, on looking round my kitchen I realised I could do one better and make good coffee even more accessible to people. From this, my journey as ‘Barista Next Door’ started!
